Job Description

Job Title: Lunchtime SupervisorLocation: Aston, BirminghamContract Type: Part-Time (Term-Time Only)Hours: (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday)Closing Date: 28/02/2024Are you looking to get into the education sectorRole Overview: As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during the lunch break. You will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the dining and playground areas,promoting good behavior, and facilitating a safe and enjoyable environment for all students.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during lunch breaks, both in the dining hall and on the playground.
  • Encourage positive behavior and promote respectful interactions among students.
  • Assist with the distribution and collection of lunchtime resources and equipment.
  • Monitor and manage any incidents or conflicts, reporting them to the appropriate school staff.
  • Support the implementation of school policies related to behavior and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other lunchtime supervisors and school staff to ensure a cohesive and effective supervision system.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Understanding of and commitment to promoting a positive school ethos.
  • First Aid training or willingness to undergo training (desirable).
