Job Description

A well-known, highly reputable organisation in the Birmingham area, have a need to hire a LINE ENGINEER / SETTER in order to support 2 automated Production lines.The organisation has been established for many years, and over the years, have continued to grow and diversify into more areas, in order to establish themselves as a World Leader.As the Line Engineer / Setter, you will be given responsibility for running a specific production lineBENEFITS OF THE LINE ENGINEER / SETTER

  • £24,300
  • Perm 3pm - 1am Shift
  • Monday to Thursday

DUTIES OF THE LINE ENGINEER / SETTER
  • Re-set, run and monitor component quality from 2 automated production lines
  • Active involvement of improvement of processes
  • Record data
  • Re-setting and change-over of tool modules
  • Strip material feedthroughs
  • Line and Tool adjustments
  • Champion 5S principles
REQUIREMENT OF THE LINE ENGINEER/ SETTER
  • You will have progression press tool and machine operating experience
  • To have the ability to learn inspection and test procedures
  • Flexibility to work shifts to cover though this is a day role
  • Continuous improvement focus
  • Lean manufacturing experience would be preferred but not essential
  • Happy to 4 permanent afternoon shift 3pm / 1am - MONDAY TO THURSDAY
