Temp to Permanent opportunity for a Lighting Technician.Pay Rate £9.50-£10.71 depending on experience.Monday to Friday 09:30-18:00 with the opportunity for overtime Saturday and Sunday.Day shifts/ Free parking/ Professional development.Key roles of the Lighting Technician include;Assembly of Lighting equipment for stagesEnsure all Lighting equipment is in working order and carry out tests (PAT)Trialling, fault finding and repairing electronic products to a component levelCompletion of test reports and documentation in accordance with company requirementsInterpretation and implementation of changes to assemblies and finished product in accordance with documentationIdentifying product quality and performance issues and raising appropriate non-conformances.Relevant quality admin paperworkCandidate requirements for our Lighting Technician include;Experience in high technology testing methodsLight TechnologyStagehand experience relevant but not essentialLight and Live event technology, Theatre arts (Video and Sound operation).Diagnostic fault-finding experience as a manufacturing technicianIdeally you will come with some prior knowledge of a Lighting Technician and may hold current accreditation in electronics engineeringVideo or Camera Technician experience is transferable to this role, with rewiring/reworking background for the Lighting Technician role.If you are interested in applying to our Lighting Technician role, please click apply or email
