Educational Stock DeveloperSalary range: £27,000 - £29,000 p.a. full-time roleMy Client is widely regarded in the UK as a specialist in the book supplier industry. Following changes to their industry market, my client is now looking to expand their services and enquire an Educational Stock Developer for their business and across the UK, during 2021.Working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week, with a generous Salary of £27- £29,000 per annum depending on experience is a fantastic opportunity to work for an amazing company who values their employees.This creates a unique opportunity for a highly motivated librarian to join their team to lead this exciting development.Reporting to the direct Manager of Professional Services, the ideal candidate will:* You must be I.T. literate.* Be able to assess and evaluate new titles.* Have an excellent working knowledge and experience of adult stock selection, including budgeting.* Be an effective and proven project leader.* Be highly motivated either working on their own or as part of a team.* Be flexible, as you will need to get involved in some childrens stock work too.* Demonstrate knowledge of basic bibliographic and cataloguing principals.* Be familiar with public library tendering.This role will involve spending time at their office in central Birmingham during the working week, but there is also regular home working and, in the future, travel to visit customers and suppliers.As a completely new role they are looking for someone who can work for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, to ensure this project are delivered, but once established, there is scope for flexibility in your hours.To be considered for the role then please apply below, where one of our team will be in contact in the next 48 hours
