Job Description

Lettings Team Leader Birmingham£34,816 per annumPermanent, Full Time At a time of considerable transformational change for the organisation our client is looking to recruit a Lettings Team Leader to manage and lead a team in Birmingham, Hereford and Worcester.In housing you can make a real difference, the role of the Lettings Team Leader will involve:

  • Supporting the provision of a high-quality allocations, lettings and empty property management service.
  • Ensuring that empty properties are re-let in accordance with the allocations policy and within the minimum timescales to achieve targets.
  • Delivering sustainable lettings through effective shortlisting and eligibility assessments ensuring that new tenants are able to sustain their tenancies.
  • Being responsible for maintaining excellent relationship with local authorities in respect of Choice Based Lettings and nomination arrangements
  • Ensuring that processes work effectively to deliver high quality services, customer satisfaction and value for money.
As the Lettings Team Leader, we need you to have:
  • Ability to communicate clearly, excellent spoken and written skills to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to manage, organise and prioritise workload and that of the team you manage.
  • Skills at achieving performance results, ability to set challenging and achievable performance objectives and targets
  • Ability to encourage creativity and encouragement within a team
  • High self-motivation who acts with integrity and shows drive and enthusiasm
