Job Description

Legionella Consultant Location: West Midlands £24,000 - £29,000 plus company car, fuel card, 22 days holiday excluding statutory days, pension, healthcare, mobile and laptopMy clients are market leaders in Safety, Health and Environmental Consultancies. They have 4 offices around the UK and have been established for over 20 years.Due to expansion they are now looking for an experienced Legionella Consultant to join their dynamic team.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients in response to enquiries to produce quotations for Legionella Risk Assessments and other associated services.
  • Assisting with the reviewing and authorisation of Legionella Risk Assessment reports.
  • Identifying upselling opportunities from risk assessment reports including: Provision of Legionella Management Plans, Monthly Monitoring Programmes and Remediation Services.
  • Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments of client sites.
  • Development and training of junior members of the team.
  • Taking the lead role in the maintenance of the companies LCA certification status.
  • Presentation of Legionella Awareness Training courses to clients as required.
  • Regular involvement in the on-going marketing of the service, by working with the existing sales and marketing department
    • To apply you must have or hold:
  • Hold a full valid driving licence
  • Holds BS4 or WMSoc equivalent in Legionella Risk Assessments
  • Hold a minimum of 5 GCSE’s including English and Maths at grade C or above
  • Be able to demonstrate a good standard of computer skills.
  • Be enthusiastic and ambitious with the desire to develop themselves and their team.
  • Have experience of producing risk assessment reports that comply to relevant Legionella legislation.
  • Have the ability to work alone and as part of a team and have the ability to "learn and research" new information as and when introduced
