UCB are seeking to appoint a talented lecturer with strong industry experience and a considered commitment to teaching and learning, to support the delivery and growth of our specialist post graduate/higher education programmes in prosthetics, special effects, make-up and hair within the School of Business, Tourism and Creative IndustriesThe successful candidate will have the ability to offer teaching in a range of subjects, which may include: Prosthetics, Special Effects Make-up; digital design tools (Zbrush/photoshop), maquette making; photography; art/lifedrawing; fashion make-up; hair cutting and styling; period hair and make-up; wig making; wig setting, dressing and styling; model making; pathology; anatomy and physiology; historical and cultural developments in hair and make-up; freelance industry sector. Successful candidates are expected to work towards a recognised teaching qualification (if not already held).This vacancy is full-time involving some evening and occasional weekend work.
