Are you a learning support mentor looking to help vulnerable childrenI am looking for an experienced teaching Assistant to work with pupils with ESBD (Emotional, Social and Behavioural Difficulties) In a school in Castle Bromwich. Working 5 dpw with a year 1 child. This school is dedicated to providing outstanding education to their students. The school has a great support network in place. Candidates that have previously worked there have all commented on how supportive the staff are! I am looking for someone who has a calming but firm approach, so the right candidate will be able to give positive reinforcement whilst implementing boundaries. You will be working with the pupils on a 1:2:1 basis and within the classroom. Im looking for a strong member of staff who can fit within the team straight away and work alongside the other professionals.Candidates will be required to have the following:* NVQ Level 3* Experience as SEN Teaching Assistant * Knowledge of the KS1curriculums* Good oral, written and numeracy skills* The ability to enthuse and inspire children* A commitment to improving outcomes for all children* The ability to work as part of a team* Willingness to go that extra mileI have been working with many teaching assistants for a number of years.
