  • Reporting to Head of Learning Design, you will manage your time across a number of different focus areas. These will include:
  • Being the lead learning designer on high-impact learning initiatives
  • Managing the intake of new projects to the project portfolio following the learning governance model
  • Managing the day-to-day activities on the learning design project portfolio
  • Supporting the Learning Design and strategy manager to implement and maintain our vendor strategy
Specific responsibilities
  • Design high-impact learning that identifies and addresses clear business issues and demonstrably improves the performance of our colleagues
  • Act as a key point of contact for colleagues across UK Learning, the wider business, Learning Design Services (India) and external vendors
  • Project managing day-to-day activities across the learning design project portfolio - ensuring all systems are kept up to date with project progress
  • Identifying areas of risk on projects and escalate as appropriate
  • Ensure project governance process is followed
  • Financial management across the portfolio of projects - ensuring activities are completed in a timely manner and that all stakeholders are kept up to date as needed
  • Support on the vendor strategy and onboarding process

  • Demonstrable experience of user-centered design methods, including user-journey mapping, user experience design, personas and user-testing
  • The ability to participate in creative and design conversations, introducing new thinking and ensuring the best design outcomes
  • Highly organised with a strong project management ethos to sequence work and ensure priorities are aligned to team members with the right skills and attributes
  • Substantial experience of working successfully with people across different levels within an organisation with the confidence to challenge/question when needed
  • Experience of working with monday.com
  • Demonstrable experience of developing a wide variety of learning including in-person experiences and a wide range of digital assets such as video and audio media types, Web pages and apps
  • Demonstrable experience of developing eLearning material and online assessments
  • Experience of managing development utilising rapid development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia)
