Job Description

At OFG, we work smarter so you can spend more time doing the things you loveCare First - Signal House are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team where you cantruly make a difference.

  • Up to £21,000 per annum
  • Up to 37.5 hours per week - flexible hours TBD
  • Permanent, full time position
  • Paid Lunch, Additional Escorting Hours as and when required outside of contractual hours on a rota
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting adults with behaviour support needs, autism, learning difficulties and complex needs to access day opportunities and education along with encouraging independent living.Everything that we do is based on thoroughly understanding the needs of the adults in our servicesand how we can best support them in achieving positive outcomes.Our approach is caring, positive and adaptable, and is underpinned by a thorough theoretical knowledge. We will provide you with full training and development to succeed within yourrole.You will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individual need. Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may be running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences or supervising childrenas they explore further afield.Our services are built on great teamwork and mutual support.
