Lead Data Scientist Fantastic opportunity available for a Data Scientist to work with a cutting edge software house that caters for highly secure environments. They work in a language agnostic fashion and this promotes and environment or research, collaboration and innovation. They have a wide range of opportunities in this area so your role will vary depending on your existing experience, their clients’ needs and your aspirations. This role will increase your abilities through working alongside their wealth of specialist data scientists and software engineers on various projects, from concepts in the innovation lab through to large scale enterprise systems.Your day to day Responsibilities will include:- Developing data science solutions within one or more of their client side teams in the Gloucester area.- Providing technical leadership to other more junior members of the team.- Collaborating with stakeholders during the development cycle.You will have the following skills:- 3+ years’ experience working as a Data Scientist,- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms (such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.).- Core experience with common data science toolkits (such as R, Python, NumPy, MatLab, Tensorflow, keras, etc.)Experience with data visualisation tools (such as D3.js, GGplot, etc.) - Proficiency in using query languages (such as SQL, Hive, Pig), with database expertise across NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.)- Large scale (‘big data’) data ecosystems, cloud infrastructure and analytic frameworks.- Machine learning and Deep Neural Net technologies.- STEM Degree is desirable.- First class communicator.- Techniques and toolkits for data cleansing, data preparation, data processing, fusion and analysis.- Techniques and toolkits for combining data or analysing data streams in real time.Additional notes:Due to the nature of role, we require you to either hold or beeligibleto achieveSC or DV clearance.
