Job Description

  • The Key Accounts Manager role:
  • Commercial responsibility for a high value customer portfolio: B&Q, Screwfix, Wickes, Toolstation
  • Execute programs that will increase awareness, consumption, retention and brand equity
  • Negotiate and implement annual trading agreements
  • Constantly identify new opportunities for sales growth
  • Cross departmental working through strong internal relationships
  • The Key Accounts Manager candidate:Home based, you will be able to travel throughout the UK to head office or customers’ premises as required. We are looking for an experienced Key Accounts Manager who can excel in this high-profile role. Suitable candidates will have:
  • At least 3 years of KAM or NAM level experience
  • Experience working with major retail multiples in DIY, High Street or grocery channels
  • Proven ability to manage complex customer agreements (including planning, operations, forecasts, logistics or marketing)
  • Strong internal / external rapport builder
  • A level education, numerate and IT literate
  • A data led decision maker
  • Advanced interpersonal and influence skills
