Job Description

Company BackgroundOur client is a large and successful group of companies ensuring that patients have access to high quality healthcare. Specialising in medicine distribution, pharmaceutical care and pharmacy based primary care services, this business is now looking for anexperienced Key Account Manager to join their results driven team within their hospital division.Package: Up to £40K + 25% Bonus & Company CarThe Role

  • Deliver against revenue, EBIT and cost budgets.
  • Ensure timely execution of all administrative tasks and full utilisation of business and CRM tools e.g. Vis.
  • Own the development and implementation of a compelling customer proposition for your region, working in conjunction with colleagues from the Hospital Services team and wider group to drive sales growth.
  • Develop and implement a sales plan to meet the needs of your customers and to grow sales and service revenues from all available and appropriate product ranges and services available to you.
  • Track and monitor sales and operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and working with colleagues in the Hospital Helpdesk, Customer Services, Finance and Operational teams.
  • Ensure the operational, regulatory and commercial needs of the customer channel are met through the group functions by representing the customer in management meetings.
  • Act as part of the Hospital Services business unit in delivering against the 2021 growth strategy.
What we need from you
  • Experience of working within the supply chain and commercial processes of large organisations.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining a customer proposition through working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing and controlling significant sales investment plans/ budget.
  • Experience of driving change in a business / customer environment.
  • Good commercial judgment, communication and negotiation skills.
