Avanti Recruitment are currently working with a global entertainment powerhouse, who distribute over 20,000 hours of content for over 200 locations. They are currently looking to take on a highly intelligent Fixed Term Contract Java Developer/Analyst who has great experience working in an internal team and used to delivering high quality projects to time and cost.You will be working in the systems teams of the IT department; you will be using your Java knowledge to support and deliver enhancements for critical sales and rights projects.You will be working across the full SDLC, including gathering requirements, analysis, design, coding etc. You will have a strong influence of the technical direction of your projects aw well as being responsible for the design and implementation of solutions.The company aren’t looking for web developers or web service developers.Required Skills:- Excellent Java experience- Strong Maths skills- Spring MVC / Vaading or GWT- Oracle/ MySQL or MS SQL- Persistent API/ORM - JPA or Hibernate- Maven or Gradle- SQL Developer / Toad or PLSQL Developer or similarDesirables:- Experience with bespoke financial or accounting databases would be advantageous- Junit Or similar- Jenkins- Spring framework or Google Juice- Enterprise Java Beans- SeleniumThe salary on offer for this position is up to £85,000.If this role is of interest then click Apply Now!
