Job Description

IT Support Engineer - based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire paying a salary of up to £32,000 is available within an amazing IT Service Provider company who put their customers first every time.We have been delivering traditional package-based and bespoke software solutions, network installations and IT Support, primarily to SMEs, since 1992. We are based in Bromsgrove and we have clients throughout the Midlands.Highlights:- Offering a salary of up to £32,000K per annum - based on experience- Monday to Friday - 9 am to 5.30 pm- Hybrid working- Stable and friendly team in place- Genuine progression opportunities - expanding business- Opportunity to work within a team of dedicated professionals determined to solve problems and create unique solutions for their clients- Enrolment in company pension scheme- 30 days holiday (including bank holidays)- Free parking availableResponsibilities:- Troubleshooting Windows 7 & 10- Anti-Virus Management- Virus / Malware Disinfection- Active Directory / Exchange: Add/Remove Changes- Supporting users remotely and over the phone and on-site if necessary- Understanding of networking switches and firewalls- Maintaining Customer backups- AD Support including GPO, DNS, Replication, DHCP and FSMO roles.- Be able to take technical lead on major incidents or outages- Train and transfer knowledge to internal teams- Highlight and complete proactive maintenance for clients- Server related support/troubleshooting- Working/Building new servers both virtual and physical- O365 management- Sonicwall / Draytek configuration maintenanceSkills / Experience:- Excellent problem-solving skills- A confident communicator, with excellent customer service skills- Flexibility to travel to customer locations when required- Supporting users remotely and over the phone and on-site if necessary- Troubleshooting Windows 7, 10 & 11- Virus / Malware Disinfection- Liaising with third-party support teams, such as Sage - Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Server and associated infrastructures- Active Directory- Microsoft Exchange- Virtualisation technologies (VMware or HyperV)- Enterprise level management of Anti-Virus Software- Physical servers- Sharepoint- At least 3 years of experience
