Job Description

We have an incredibly exciting opportunity to join an established organisation, opening up their new premises in Birmingham for the first time in the city centre. This role is paying £19.00 per hour and will be working full time, five days per week. The intention is that this role will be continuing indefinitelywith the end view of being transferred onto a permanent contract.The position will report to the Head IT & DigitalResponsible for managing the IT user solutions which includes client hardware, client software and IT service management solutions for corporate and business locations.Role Objective:

  • Managing and maintaining uptime of organisations IT user solutions (e.g. client hardware, software, collaboration tools, productivity tools, security tools, user backup etc).
  • Evaluation, selection, contracting and deployment of new IT solutions as per companys sourcing process and policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and extended IT team and business stakeholders to
    • Identify improvement areas and implement identified solutions.
    • Requirement gathering, designing solution and implementation coordination for Identified IT initiatives.
  • Project Governance
    • Prioritisation and coordination of associated IT initiatives.
    • Facilitate scheduled governance meetings.
    • Facilitate change management.
  • Vendor and relationship management: Establish and manage effective service levels with key vendors to ensure that objectives and ROI is achieved on existing or new agreements.
Qualification & Experience Background
  • Postgraduate / Graduate with 6+ years of experience preferably FMCG / eCommerce industry.
  • Demonstrated the ability to think out of the box to conceptualise and deliver innovative IT solutions.
  • Experience in deployment and management of whole host of digital age user level IT solutions through outsourced service provider.
