Job Description

Job Profile for Inventory Manager / Commercial ManagerBennett and Game are proud to be working with a leading independent Electrical Wholesale Supplier based in Birmingham. They provide a first-class range of electrical supplies for both trade and industry professionals from major manufactures.They are part of the Associated Independent Electrical Wholesalers (AIEW) who provide national stock availability through partner suppliers to contractors working across the UK.Inventory Manager / Commercial Manager Position Overview

  • Cover all inventory control activities across multiple sites.
  • Implement a range or processes and strategies to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Utilise stock management software such as KNSoft
  • Review stock demand patterns and coordinate stock across multiple sites
  • Provide excellent communication through out the business at all levels
  • Collaboratively work with suppliers to maintain relationships and agree terms
  • Maintain excellent communication between sites and to management level
  • Assist with Accounts payments
  • Proactively work to improve inventory management and supplier accounts
  • Manage stock layout to maximize efficiency
  • Improve and maintain supplier relationships
  • Meet with suppliers and discuss marketing materials
Inventory and Commercial Manager Position Requirements
  • Stock taking and auditing experience for multiple sites
  • Inventory management
  • Experience utilising stock management strategies to optimise stock level across sites i.e. Ring-fencing
  • Supplier management
  • Knowledge of market trends and buying calendar
  • Team management across multiple sites
  • KMSoft Experince
  • Computer literate - Excel/Microsoft
Inventory / Commercial Manager Position Remuneration
  • Working hours: 8-5pm Mon-Fri
  • Salary: £35-45K
  • Performance/KPI related bonus
  • Hybrid/Flexible Working options
  • Multi-site based
