Job Description

The International Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing carriers and overseeing import and export activities for the retail businessClient DetailsThe International Logistics Manager will be working for an international retailer based in Birmingham focused on the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sectorDescription

  • Responsible for managing carriers in a multi-channel distribution offering
  • Overseeing 3pl performance and managing daily issues with distribution operations
  • Negotiate and control distribution costs
  • Drive efficiency through collaboration with transport suppliers
  • Collaborate and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure understanding of operations performance and unified operations reporting
  • Assist with operations continuous improvement projects
  • Responsibility for oversight of customs processes
Profile
  • Proven experience of carrier/supply chain management within an international retail or manufacturing operation
  • Knowledge of customs processes and 3pl experience
  • Ideally knowledge of forecasting/volumes within a supply chain
  • Customs/Trade compliance experience is an advantage
  • Retail industry experience is an advantage
  • MUST be able to commute to Birmingham at least three times a week
Job OfferThe International Logistics Manager will be paid between £50,000 and £60,000
