Job Description

**Internal Sales Manager Required** to join a leading global freight forwarder and preferred e-commerce Service Provider / specialised Customs Broker.Our clients global coverage extends to over 100 countries worldwide which enables them to control freight movements by Air, Ocean and Road to and from all major freight lanes. The client provides a full one-stop service for e-commerce sellers in the UK,US and Europe and maximise e-commerce fulfilment options with their fulfilment services delivering efficiencies and cost savings on sellers fulfilment processes from the clients 200,000 sq. ft. fully equipped warehouse, based in Southampton, UK.Our client is involved in specialized industry verticals such as e-Commerce, Automotive, Manufacturing & Industrial, Aerospace, Consumer & Retail, Energy, FMCG and many others.Internal Sales Manager - Salary / Benefits Package

  • Salary - £28k to £40k per annum (DOE)
  • Car Allowance: £3.6k per annum
  • Incentive / New Business Commission - Uncapped (*Sales Commission Structure with T&Cs available upon request)

  • Location: Southampton (Hybrid) or South UK/Midlands (Remote with agreed weekly/bi-weekly visits to Southampton H.O)
Internal Sales Manager - Position Requirements
  • Proven success in a similar role within the UK Freight Forwarding market covering Air, Ocean, and EU road-freight logistics solutions (Essential)
  • Demonstrate clear commercial acumen, numeracy, and IT compatibility.
  • Pragmatic and makes good use of data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possessing the ability to react in timely manner with concise and competitive pricing solutions to customers
  • Ability to listen, analyse, think, and consult to ensure logistics proposals made, are practicable, profitable and mutually beneficial.
  • Energetic interpersonal skills, which act as catalysts for producing ideas to meet new business sales challenges.
  • The personality, gravitas and persuasive ability to influence decision making.
  • Comfortable working with colleagues in groups and hosting visitors to Regional Express site.
  • Capable of reporting and presenting business development in a professional manner
  • UK and EU multimodal freight-forwarding knowledge is essential
