Job Description

Gresham Hunt has been mandated by a Tier 1 Corporate & Investment Bank to find an experienced audit to join their Group Finance Internal Audit team.My client is open to profiles coming from the all three lines of defence as well as those coming straight from practice. A professional accountancy related qualification is preferred.Responsibilities of the role:

  • Support Managers & Senior Managers with the delivery of audit engagements
  • Covering a variety of audits including but not limited to; ICAAP, FINREP, Regulatory Reporting, Treasury, Liquidity, Stress Testing, Tax & Finance Operations
  • Grow into a leadership position where you will lead audit engagements end-to-end
  • Liaise & work with the global internal audit team
  • Effectively manage key stakeholders throughout various business functions
The successful candidate will have:
  • Relevant financial services experience, ideally within the 3rd LOD but not a pre-requisite
  • Strong interpersonal skills & desire to learn
  • Basic understanding of how to identify & mitigate key risks that may affect a banking group
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of team
  • Understanding of key regulations that must be complied with
