Approximately 80% of UK sales originate from products proudly made in the UK.About the Role:In this newly established UK role, you will report to the Head of Internal Controls and the UK FD. As an operational Internal Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping key internal controls and ensuring compliance across all business lines, workingclosely with key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with Group Internal Audit, contributing to audits and overseeing internal control activities.Occasionally participate in internal control missions in France.Plan, execute, and report on internal audits.Conduct targeted internal control missions within the scope defined by the Financial Director.Update process descriptions, review risks and controls, and test controls.Develop action plans and recommendations, monitoring their implementation.Supervise and train finance personnel.Utilise the Groups IT tool for Internal Control.Coordinate with external auditors during their internal control missions.Continuously improve control processes and best practices.Qualifications and Attributes:Bright and Ambitious.Naturally curious and inquisitive - a prerequisite for success in this role.Part or newly qualified Auditor/Internal Auditor.Strong analytical skills.Highly organised and methodical.Self-starter with acute attention to detail.Ability to work independently.This naturally suits a part qualified or newly qualified accountant in a TOP 10 UK accounting Practice who has 1st time passes and looking to step into industry to have a flourishing career.Why Work for Legrand:Convenient working hours: Mon-Fri, 08:30 AM - 4:30 PM. - Hybrid working.Provided company mobile phone and laptop.Group Personal Pension Plan with employer contributions.25 days of annual leave (excluding Public Bank Holidays).Employee Assistance Programme.Life Assurance.Option to purchase up to 3 additional holiday days.Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Scheme.Healthcare Services, including 24/7 GP service, mental health support, and wellbeing services through AIG Smart Health.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
