Intermediate Electrical EngineerBirminghamUp to £40k + Fantastic BenefitsFantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join an award-winning design consultancy in Birmingham.My client is a top tier international design consultancy who have an exemplary track record of designing innovative and sustainable built environment solutions, within M&E, Civil and Structural, and many other specialist disciplines.As one of the longest established consultancies, their Birmingham team are a source of world leading expertiseand offer a pro-active and collaborative approach to skill development, and professional excellence.Their projects portfolio includes large scale commercial developments, healthcare, residential, critical systems, aviation, retail, hotels, education, infrastructure, sport and leisure.We are currently looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis in Birmingham.The Role

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical engineer to join our clients team in their Birmingham office to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most exciting buildingprojects in the UK and internationally.
  • Working across a variety of sectors including Healthcare, Education, Workplace and Residential, you will work in a team of expert engineers and technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help manage the delivery of technicallyexcellent, profitable projects for high profile public and private clients.
  • You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and with accredited professional development programmes from CIBSE and IET, you will be fully supported towards achievingchartership.
Skills and QualificationsEducated to degree level in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent) and having gained relevant experience within a consultancy environment (design and coordination of electrical distribution and power generation, lighting,security systems etc), you are already well versed in the use of relevant design software including Amtech and ideally, Dialux.You have proven ability in producing low energy design solutions, carrying out site inspections and surveys, detail design development, and cruciallyyou have a passion for creative and intuitive design.Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.For more information regarding the above role, please contact Stephen Tiigah
