Job Description

The Interim Head of Warehousing will be managing the performance of a logistics network with a variety of DCs and outbasesClient DetailsThe successful Interim Head of Warehousing will be working for a leading service led business operating in the Logistics Distribution and Supply ChainDescription

  • Managing the performance of a national network of distribution centres and outbases to ensure SLA is achieved
  • Building and maintaining a proactive and engaged management culture
  • Driving a customer focused operations culture
  • Examine and refine national distribution network and ensure industry leading distribution practices are implemented
  • Assist with developing a CI/Lean culture and promote operational efficiency across the business
  • Engage and manage relationships with both customers and suppliers
  • Identify and develop future management opportunities
Profile
  • Experience in strategic ops leadership and remote management
  • Will have a strong combination of transport, warehouse and depot management
  • A proven track record of successfully managing across a number of distribution centres
  • Will be able to commute nationally but ideally based near Birmingham
  • A background in mutli-drop environments would be advantageous
Job OfferThe successful Interim Head of Warehousing will be paid between £65,000 and £75,000 (pro rata)
