Job Description

I am recruiting an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join an established medium sized Automotive business based in Birmingham that is undergoing a period of change and transformation.The role is to be undertaken on a 12 month fixed term contract, and will support the Finance Director in dealing with all technical and statutory accounts.Location: BirminghamContract length: 12 months Fixed Term ContractSalary: £80,000-85,000 per annumKey Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Controller:

  • Responsible for the month-end processes and reporting, the integrity of the balance sheet and all GL journals
  • Coordinate the preparation and issue of the monthly board reports
  • Develop the control environment, including the development and maintenance of key control policies and procedures
  • Maintain a rolling group daily cash flow and long term cash flow model
  • Undertake the year-end audit, completion and submission of UK corporate tax computations and Group VAT returns
  • Manage the relationship and reporting requirements of the external bankers
  • Oversee and develop the Finance Team in conjunction with the Finance Director
    • Key Skills, Experience and Requirements
  • UK GAAP & IFRS - essential
  • Strong experience of statutory audit and audit preparation
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA - essential#
