Location: Birmingham and surrounding areasWorking Pattern: HybridEngagement Route: Open to Personal Services Company (PSC) / Limited Company (Ltd Co.)Rate: Daily rates negotiableThe Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team within Grant Thornton UK LLP are currently looking for Fully Qualified Accountants to join their community of Independent Consultants based in the Birmingham area.About the Service LineFinancial Accounting and Financial Advisory Services focus is interim finance professionals who provide an on-demand and project focused accounting service for us and our clients.Our service is split into four service elements: Finance Placements, Financial Reporting Advisory, Non-Statutory Assurance and ESG Assurance.What’s in it for youOpportunity:Our clients are increasingly seeking to engage with our tailored, specialist services, which they are unable to deliver internally. From helping you navigate incoming regulation for freelancers to providing dedicated points of contactand offering training, we will always be there to support, advise and help you develop.Skills we’re looking for:

  • Half and full year end accounts preparation and audit liaison.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts.
  • Group accounts consolidation and Intercompany accounting.
  • Accounting for acquisitions, mergers, and disposals.
  • Financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, and international GAAP.
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and audit.
  • The minimum criteria you’ll need is a professional qualification ACA, ACCA, CA or CIMA.
