Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Product & Field Marketing, the holder of this role will be responsible for the development, design and execution of go-to-market plans that directly contribute measurable qualified leads and sales pipeline to grow revenue performance of the Application Modernization business unit within Advanced. Responsibility includes business unit marketing activities, campaign/program planning and execution, marketing operations, reporting, and strategic analysis.Additionally, the position is responsible for providing direct feedback on the most appropriate vehicles to drive brand awareness, while maximizing business opportunity in our chosen markets.The key objective of this role is to manage the field marketing activities and campaign execution for the Application Modernisation market, working closely with peers, business development, and the sales team. This role places particular emphasis on campaign execution responsible for and working closely with the wider marketing team and interfacing with the Inside Sales Team.What you will be doing:

  • Manages field marketing activities and lead generation programs.
  • Responsible for leading the development, production and implementation of strategic field marketing programs that drive lead generation, positioning the Company and its products/services in high visibility with customers, partners, prospects and influencers.
  • Serves as liaison between the Marketing, Business Development & Sales functions and external suppliers.
  • In conjunction with Business Development, shares responsibility for the attainment of sales volume (leads) and financial goals (conversions), including profitability with targeted lead generation campaigns.
  • Wider contribution to the Application Modernization marketing team’s success.
  • What you will have/be good at
  • Deep understanding of field/integrated marketing best practices, including lead generation, marketing technology, social media, and PPC
  • Strong technical knowledge of software development and legacy systems (mainframe, VME, OpenVMS)
  • Proven experience as a marketing manager. Prior experience in field/integrated marketing is essential
  • Strong writing skills and campaign management experience
  • Highly creative, proactive and organised strategic thinker
