An exciting opportunity for a highly regarded international insurance who occupy a truly stunning office in central Birmingham as Insurance Data Technician on an initial 12 month contract.As an Insurance Data Technician - Bordereaux, you will play a key part in the overall operation coordinating the day to day relationship with TPAs and clients within claims authority to ensure that claims bordereaux issues are escalated and dealt with to a satisfactory conclusion. This will be via telephone email and also face to face so first class communication skills are a must.With the responsibility for managing the claims bordereaux ensuring funds and collected and processed within agreed timescales. You will monitor claims issues liaising with the TPAs and clients within claims authority to address issues on a proactive basis.Your day to day will involve monitoring claims data and fund levels, analysing monthly claims fund reconciliations, addressing any issues with the TPA or client with claims authority. You will also produce monthly claims reports whilst managing claims fund levels held by the business.Working alongside the management team you will carry out reviews and audits of clients and TPAs from a claims technical finance perspective. Following on from this you will also prepare MI to based on the claims data that you have.To be considered you will need to have a strong claims background with a focus on data or finance ideally working in a TPA, broker or insurer along with a good understanding of excel and claims bordereaux.You will be rewarded with a first-class package including commuting costs, free lunch and an excellent pension and bonus.
