The successful Nurse will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team offering specialist clinical interventions to a cohort of residents at the service.The team are looking for someone who can actively contribute to the service, ensuring that they deliver a consistently excellent clinical service. As a Nurse in the team, you will provide care to those undertaking medically managed detoxes and a holisticapproach to any mental and physical health concerns.You will play a key part in developing and delivering healthcare, whilst working flexibly within the team to establish what else is needed to have the most positive impact for patients, their families, and the wider community.Benefits of this Inpatient Detox Nurse role include:

Duties as an Inpatient Detox Nurse:

• You will deliver high quality essential care to all people in their care
• You will deliver complex care to service users in their field of practice
• You will act to protect the public, and be responsible and accountable for safe, person-centered, evidence-based nursing practice
• You will act with professionalism and integrity, and work within agreed professional, ethical and legal frameworks, and processes to maintain and improve standards
• You will practice in a compassionate, respectful way, maintaining dignity and wellbeing and communicating effectively
• You will act on your understanding of how peoples lifestyles, environments and where care is delivered influence their health and wellbeing
• You will seek out every opportunity to promote health and prevent illness
• You will work in partnership with other health and social care professionals and agencies, service users, carers and families ensuring that decisions about care are shared
• You will use leadership skills to supervise and manage others and contribute to planning, designing, delivering, and improving future services

Essential requirements of this Inpatient Detox Nurse role include:

• You will be a Registered Nurse with a current PIN
• You will have knowledge of different treatment models and harm minimisation intervention
• All nurses in this role will provide evidence-based care that is person centred, recovery focused and in line with national and organisational policies and procedures
• The legal right to work in the UK
