Job Description

Infrastructure & Security Technician

  • Ideally Birmingham based but working from home
  • Core hours 9-5:30 but some out of hours may be required
  • Some travel to sites is required and remote working is included
    • The Role
  • Maintenance of our Azure infrastructure and VM platform
  • Migration of infrastructure/applications from Azure Classic to ARM
  • Provide delivery on a range of technical solutions around your area of expertise
  • Act as the point of escalation for IT support issues
  • Hands on approach to assisting with projects
    • Skills required
  • Experience with MS Azure (IaaS) Classic and ARM
  • Experience with SCCM, Intune, Autopilot & AzureAD
  • Experience with Windows Virtual Desktop - deploying in Azure
  • Experience with SQL aaS and on-prem
  • Azure VPN
  • Powershell skills
  • Windows Server 2008 - 2019
  • Microsoft DirectAccess vpn
  • Highly motivated, confident and ambitious individual with a meticulous approach to work and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication, documentation and presentation skill
  • Excellent 3rd party support management
    • Beneficial Skills
  • Microsoft 365 (Sharepoint, Exchange, Security & Compliance)
  • Vulnerability management
  • Email security management (DMarc, SPF, Dkim)
  • Mimecast email filtering
  • DNS Management
  • MS Power Platform administration (Flow, Automate, Powerbi)
  • Dynamics 365 Platform
  • Cisco Meraki networking
  • ISO 27001, GDPR
    • QualificationsAZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator5 Years plus
