About the Company Function: BrandResponsibility: Supporting upscaling WU influencer marketingReports to: Head of DigitalLocation: Birmingham Head Office / Hybrid 3 days per weekCompensation: 27K - 30k + EquityOur background and your main purposeWU makes personal Electric Vehicles (EVs) that look incredible and perform like kings of the road. From humble beginnings in a garage in Nottingham to our new headquarters in Birmingham and factory in Chelmsford, were a full circle, DTC, innovative UK-basedbrand that inspires, and kicks ass.In the face of fierce competition (and in a market ruled by big-name brands) we knew the only way to get our EVs out to people was to go direct. We reverse-engineered a product we knew people would love and have grown a community of loyal customers, singingour praises all over the UK.But we wont stop there. Because weve now secured the investment to scale up and become an international EV brand. The rubber has hit the road!And thats where you come in - because were now focused on building our core team of talent, as we continue our relentless quest to create the hottest electric transportation on the planet, develop EV autopilot and accelerate the global transition to fully-sustainableenergy.Weve got big ambitions. We want to grow our revenue to £51m by 2024, invest more in our brand and talent, open a second headquarters in Berlin, and follow that with another HQ in New York.To help us grow the right way, we engaged eCommerce growth consultancy The Growth Foundation (Gymshark, Ruroc, THG). Their initial review identified several key hires to help us hit these ambitious scale-up targets.This role youre looking at now is one of them.This role is career-defining; allowing the right candidate to make their mark, learn while doing and work to propel WU into a trail-blazing, aspirational global EV Brand.Supporting upscaling WU influencer marketing activations, driving coverage and content creation along with elevating new brand messaging and direction. This is an amazing opportunity for a self-motivated, driven, and creative individual who has a passionfor EV/Tech and DTC brands.Main Accountabilities

  • Execution of influencer campaigns
  • Complete end-to-end relationship management with influencers, from initial outreach emails to processing payments
  • Building and executing localised campaigns
  • Liaise with Content, Social, Campaign and Digital teams to execute 360 marketing campaigns
  • Research customer demographic/gap analysis in order to identify growth areas for the brand
  • Researching new trends and areas of innovation, identifying new opportunities to help grow the WU brand awareness and reach
  • Seek partnership opportunities with external contributors and/or publishers to drive reach new audiences
  • Organising and executing WU influencer events and trips
  • Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites for opportunities for our brands
  • Building weekly and monthly reports to present to the wider business
Skills:
  • Entrepreneurial thinkers are welcome - those able to think outside the box best suited to a true start-up, agile environment
  • Strong writing and editorial skills
  • Eye for detail and accuracy
  • Creative and wide-ranging ideas
Experience:
  • 1-2 years experience in influencer marketing
  • Strong interest in Digital marketing channels and e-commerce/DTC brands
  • Proven communication and influencing skills
  • Interest in the apparel/fashion market
  • From either agency or in-house side
