IMPORT/EXPORT COMPLIANCE COORDINATORMONDAY - FRIDAY: 08.30 - 17.00£25,000 PER ANNUMPeople Solutions are working in partnership with our client, a Global Market Leader in the Metal industry, who are looking to hire an Import/Export Compliance Coordinator.This role will support the UK Import/Export Compliance Leader with all Customs Warehouse and all Customs Compliance and Customs related issues, in line with HMRC legislation.Benefits• On site canteen• Free Parking• Full training• Progression opportunities• Modern working environment• Company contribution pension• Family orientated business• Lots of incentivesDay to Day DutiesAs an Import/Export Compliance Coordinator your duties will include:• To provide comprehensive admin support for the effective running of the customs operation• Full adherence to HMRC Rules & Regulations, ensuring compliance to all site processes and procedures• Working to strict deadlines both commercially and legally• Reconciling stock files between automation Warehouse & Duty Management Systems• Accountable for delivering a high quality, customer focused service.• Build and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders.• Daily receipts and despatches onto Warehouse & Duty Management systems and processing of the relevant customs duties and VAT• Prioritising daily tasks to meet business needs• Responsible for dailyadmin tasks required to ensure compliance with HMRC Rules and Regulations and site operational procedures• Be proactive in preventing accidents and reducing hazards by ensuring that health and safety regulations and standards of hygiene are always maintainedEssential SkillsIt is Essential as an Import/Export Compliance Coordinator that you have:• Strong academic record (graduated with a 2:1 or above)• Strong GCSE/A-levels or equivalent• Supply chain experience• Customs background• Understand basic Customs/HMRC requirements• Understanding of Customs Bonded WarehousesDesirable ExperienceIt would be desirable as an Import/Export Compliance Coordinator if you have:• Aerospace and materials knowledge• Experience in a similar positionWhat training is providedCompany Policy and Procedure Training providedApplyApply today by clicking below
