Job Description

Imports & Bookings AdministratorReporting to the Import Manager, you will playa pivotal role in the smooth running of a busy Inbound Supply Chain department. Theteam will trust and rely on you to arrange all inbound deliveries, maintainaccurate data on a variety of systems and often be the main point of contactbetween several departments; Supply Chain, Commercial Team and our DC Team.Ideally you will haveprevious experience within a busy, high paced supply, shipping or transport environment.What well give to you:

About the roleResponsibilitiesinclude:
  • Ensuring all orders are booked into our DC accuratelyand within the required timeframe in order to reach our stores promptly
  • Working with our Freight Forwarders both in theUK and Far East to ensure all imports reach the business efficiently,accurately and most cost effectively.
  • Supporting the outbound Stock team withpromotional priority orders, communicating at all times of delays
  • Swiftly replying to all duty classificationqueries and retrieving accurate information promptly
  • Maintaining records for auditing and completingdue diligence i.e. quality checks on freight forwarder classifications
  • Completion of landing cost, ensuring allproducts are classified correctly and accurately.
  • Helping to plan ahead to ensure intake isreceipted and balanced into the business
