Keen to build upon their considerable investment in new products and capitalise on significant new market opportunities they are looking to appoint a high calibre Implementation Engineer to lead them througha period of tremendous change, opportunity and growth.The RoleWith an HQ in Birmingham the individual could be based anywhere in the UK or overseas as the majority of work can be done remotely. Reporting to the Technical Implementation Manager and as part of a project implementation team on single or multiple productionlines, you will be responsible for the preparation, configuration, installation and commissioning of line monitoring software both on customer sites and remotely. Working with a wide range of manufacturing customers you will be the main point of contact forshop floor, team leaders and operational directors dealing with any technical issues.The PersonWith proven knowledge and experience in the configuration and programming of automation equipment (2 years +) you will have worked within a manufacturing environment, ideally directly within FMCG. As a self-starter with high levels of self-resilience you willbe experienced in dealing directly with customers and or 3rd parties and be willing to travel internationally to customer sites at critical points in the implementation (this could be c10% of time as the majority of work is done remotely).
