Job Description

Working within Group Services as part of the HR team.The role of HR services assistant within the HR services team is to provide timely and accurate administration and co-ordinated transactional support. Ensuring good practice and the smooth delivery of services across Mace are within SLA tolerance and to service excellence standards.Your clients are Mace colleagues across the UK and specific overseas locations. These colleagues will be highly client facing and we ensure all queries (telephone, email and verbal) are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner, standards are met, and work is delivered against key performance indicators (KPI). The whole administrative function must be responsive to the needs of the business and ensure all HR services and HR ways of working are Mace compliant and meet advised standards as outlined by the Group HR director.Your responsibilities will include:Consistently providing a triage of support, advice and workable solutions for Mace colleagues.Handling queries and managing support via telephone, face to face and email, via centralised email and service now tickets.Ensuring guidance is provided in line with Mace policy, highlighting complexity and managing up through the line as necessary.Working proactively with HR colleagues, key stakeholders and employees at all levels to effectively support, take ownership and see each interaction through to final resolution. Ensuring the best employee experience, encouraging a culture where people can be authentic and be valued for their contribution and that quality, inclusion, diversity and engagement is at the forefront of everything we do.Providing advice, administration and coordination of all transactional processes, throughout the employee lifecycle, working to achieve first time resolution so that the wider HR team and Mace colleagues feel supported and positive results are achieved.Working to SLAs to respond to first line queries, process documentation and system updates. Supporting and having a sound understanding of People policies and guidance.Ensuring quality, accuracy and integrity of people data maintaining and updating the oracle HCM system.Contributing to continuous improvement of HR Services processes.Working with various systems to administer HR processes such as Taleo, Oracle HCM, Service now.Working with HR operation stakeholders to identify and understand local business needs and seek specialist support from our centre of excellence teams where appropriate.Supporting the wider HR Services team with workload, coach and develop other members of the team.About youYou are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships.
