Job Description

Your new roleWe are looking for an experienced management information and insight expert to help us develop our approach to producing and using HR data from our Oracle system, to provide insight for HR teams and the rest of the company.Working as part of a small team you will not only have excellent Power BI, VBA and SQL skills, and be used to applying them to Oracle products, you will also be used to dealing with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and to deliver management informationand insight products.You will also be used to taking a proactive approach to identify opportunities for new and improved management information and to promoting the use of management information to generate insight that can be used to inform HR policy and procedure, and providea better service to the rest of the company.What youll be leading on

  • Developing a suite of management information and insight dashboards to enable improved visibility and decision making with people data.
  • Lead on the development of data management reports.
  • Ensure system build is optimised to deliver data integrity and reporting capability.
  • Input to the maintenance of Oracle based systems ensuring they remain suitable for National Highways changing needs.
To be successful
  • Significant experience of using VBA, Excel and Power BI
  • Significant experience of using SQL
  • Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Problem solving to resolution of technical issues in multiple systems.
  • Ideally experience of Oracle Fusion, Taleo, ServiceCloud
  • Ideally experience of Python, HTML, CSS, PHP, PowerShell and R.
