Job Description

HR Data Administrator - 9-month fixed term contract About the role:If you have a flare for IT systems and detail, like working with data and enjoy administration this role is for you. We offer a flexible approach to working and the opportunity to get a step in the door of an HR team in a large organisation. This role is to support the restructure of a head office function of over 1,000 employees spread across the UK.The location for this role is flexible with some travel to London required, some working from home and some at other remote sites within the UK the norm so an ability to work remotely, autonomously and proactively is essential.What youll be doing:

  • Review template documents and produce drafts for the lead HR rep such as at risk of redundancy letters, redundancy letters, notice letters etc. Printing and distributing as need be.
  • Develop excel tracker from scratch to include automated and visible formulas for redundancy and notice calculations
  • Calculate redundancy estimates including statutory and contractual notice as well as statutory redundancy plus any enhanced entitlements via TUPE
  • Take notes at meeting including those for formal collective consultation with employee representatives and trade unions. Resultingly produce right first-time associated minutes and bulletins for circulation to hundreds of employees and managers
  • Liaise with the wider remote HR team to gather local terms and conditions information and identify enhancements compared to statutory
  • Manage a central email inbox for employee contact and highlight content to the HR lead along with drafting suggested responses to questions and manage a databank of FAQs
  • What were looking for:
  • HR knowledge through study or work experience demonstrated via statutory information on notice periods, redundancy calculations, maternity. (HR work experience desirable.)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office and specifically excel with a willingness to learn more.
  • Working knowledge of O365 Sharepoint and a willingness to learn more.
  • Good level of communication, written English and drafting skills.
  • Able to proactively develop relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and wider HR team to collaborate effectively to get best results.
  • Administration work experience of working in an office is essential.
