Macmillan Davies are looking to attract a HR Business Partner on behalf of a leading global business operating in the professional services sector. The role will be based out of Birmingham City Centre with the ability to operate flexibly.The role is designed to lead and manage the people agenda for the Business Services areas of this Firm and to support the delivery of local office engagement plans. About the roleDuties and responsibilities will include:*Acting as a single point of contact for the UK management teams in the business services areas facilitating to bring the best people solutions for the business, line managers and employees.*Building strong business relationships with internal clients and working closely with management team members to deliver against a business aligned people plan.*Leading the talent management agenda for the UK business support areas, meeting business goals through the attraction, identification, development, engagement, retention and deployment of individuals.*Working in partnership with the wider HR team, proactively overseeing and supporting the delivery of the HR calendar*Providing coaching to line managers to encourage effective communication and objective problem resolutions. *Managing complex employee relations casework, driving resolution in line with legislation and internal policies. *Participating in the implementation of specific projects, taking a lead role where appropriate, to help align the workforce to the strategic goals of the Firm.*Actively identifying gaps, proposing and implementing changes necessary to address people risks within your customer groupAbout youWere hoping to receive applications from those professionals suitably qualified with proven work experience across all core areas of HR - recruitment, reward, performance management, learning & development, talent management.You will also be able offer:*Good working knowledge of UK employment law, procedures and processes and proven experience in managing complex cases through to conclusion, balancing the needs of the business and the individual.*Demonstrable success in developing and supporting line managers through change.*Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.*Good level of commercial awareness and business acumen*Good organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.*Professional qualification (CIPD or equivalent) is desirable
