Job Description

HR Administrator- BirminghamWorking with a prestigious clothing company based in the heart of Birmingham who are looking for a HR Administrator to join the team at an exciting time, this is a development opportunity where you will be working towards becoming a HR Advisor. If you arelooking to take that next step with a clear progression plan in place this is the role for you!Our clients have huge plans for growth and are looking for someone to be a key member of the team during this time. You will be based at their modern head office working within an enthusiastic well-established team. We are looking for a dedicated, pro-activeindividual who is happy to think outside of the box and help the company achieve the goals they have in place.As a HR Administrator your roles & responsibilities would be:

  • Support the HR team with all aspects of the HR function
  • Point of contact for all stakeholders requiring advise or support
  • Manage Recruitment job boards and sifting CVs
  • Issuing offer packs, i.e. offer letters and contracts of employment
  • Processing new starter packs received from stores and H/O
  • Ensuring Right to work documents and Company visas are received and administered.
  • Processing leaver details
  • Keeping up to date with HR legislation and right to work legislation
  • Manage the absence recording system (holidays, sickness, absence etc.)
  • Create and maintain employee records
  • Preparing letters for any formal contractual changes as required.
  • Minute taking in formal meetings and with experience, be able to chair meetings in the future
  • Maintenance of the employee time and attendance system
  • Ensure procedures are compliant with legal and audit requirements
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects
  • To take ownership of Warehouse hours and rotas including agency
What skills and Expertise do you require
  • Previous experience of working within a HR function
  • General understanding of HR
  • Aspiration to develop into HR Advisor
  • Excellent skills using Microsoft software, MS word and Excel
  • Highly organised
  • Confident and able to work under pressure
  • Able to communicate with all senior management and director levels
