HOUSING OFFICERIMMEDIATELY REQUIRED TO WORK IN BIRMINGHAM Location: BirminghamHours: 37.5 Hours Per WeekDuration: PermStart: ASAPSalary: £28.754.89 + Car AllowanceCar: RequiredAre you a hardworking and diligent Housing Officer with a great knowledge and understanding of tenancy and estate managementIs so, BRC are working in partnership with a local Charity who are recruiting for a Housing Officer. They are looking for someone to effectively manage a dispersed patch of properties, dealing with estate management issues, ASB, tenancy sustainment and othertenancy related issues. As a Housing Officer, you will play a vital part in delivering affordable accommodation by acting as a key liaison to tenants, providing them with their rights and responsibilities, participating in community events and monitoring neighbourhoods.The successful candidate will be responsible for the properties and tenants within the designated patch. It is essential you can work by yourself without supervision while adhering to workload targets and KPIs. Constant communication with the tenants isnecessary to manage rent accounts by supporting ongoing rent and debt recovery. A sound understanding of Housing Management is necessary for this role.To be successful in this position, you will have experience of debt and income recovery, a good understanding of landlord and tenant legislation, and possess the following soft skills: excellent communication, negotiating skills, and ability to deal withaggravated situations are desired.There are a range of competitive benefits provided for this role including generous holiday packages, access to gym memberships, a health care benefit system, and childcare vouchers.
