Housekeeping Assistant - BirminghamSalary: £22,373.00 per annum - effective from 1st April 2024.Location: BirminghamHours: 37.5- Full timeThe CharitySt Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services. We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcareservices, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.St Andrew’s Birmingham is a 118 bedded adult mental healthcare facility comprises of eight units that cover medium and low security for both Men and Women. Located in Stirchley, a vibrant area in South Birmingham, easily accessible by road networks and publictransport.We are very proud that our Birmingham hospital is rated ‘Good’ overall by the Care Quality Commission and ‘Outstanding’ in responsiveness. We are also part of a wider healthcare provider collaborative, REACHOUT, working in association with two other NHSTrusts in the West Midlands.We ensure our patients consistently get the best possible outcomes and local teams gain more control and responsibility.Housekeeping AssistantsIn this role you will be cleaning central areas of the hospital as well as cleaning wards and bathrooms in low and medium secure environment. You will play a key role in the delivery of ensuring that high levels of excellence are maintained in both publicareas and back of house. You will have high standards of cleanliness naturally and take pride in the work that you undertake.
