Hunter Gatherer AHP have several very exciting locum opportunities based with x2 large NHS Hospital services, located across the west midlands and Birmingham (please enquire for exact locations), for several Band 7/8a Pharmacists (hospital experience required)to join the ward and dispensary teams from April onwards, on ongoing contracts! PLEASE NOTEsome form of previous hospital experience is required, as the post will be to cover the various inpatient wards of the services.There is free parking available on site at all hospitals. This is a fantastic chance for career progression at speed, as the service will be willing to increase banding after 4-6 months depending on performance!The role will be to cover the various inpatient wards and complete the clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing, there will also be some accuracy checking of medication, offering advice on dosages and side effects of drug interaction, and maintainaccurate and detailed records of all medications processed. There are various wards/specialties to be covered, including medical/surgical/gynecology/neuro/care of the elderly/rehab and A+E.The working pattern will be either 8am - 4pm OR 9am5pm (30 mins lunch break) MondayFriday, there will be no on call or weekend working needed. For the right applicant, part time working may be considered (34 days per week).Applicants must have some form of pharmacy experience, from a hospital service to be considered.These services are seeking cover immediately (April 2023), and the roles will be a contract length of 4 - 6 months. x2 Locum Band 7/8a Pharmacists neededNHS Hospital West Midlands £27£37 per hour Umbrella , depending on experience Hospital experience required for the role Start date: April 2023- Wards + Dispensary cover- GPHC Registration required- Located across four sites in and around the west midlands/Birmingham.
