HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for ongoing work Want to work with the one of the UKs leading supply chain logistics provider As this is within the automotive sector, long term opportunities are available. Shifts available are Monday - Friday, Afternoon& Nights.Information about the HGV Class 1 Driver role:-- Local delivery and collection of Automotive parts- Local sequence deliveries from manufacturing facility into plant- Some distance deliveries to and from other suppliers / manufacturers- Typical start times between 13:00 - 17:00- 8 - 10 hour shifts (Minimum 9 paid / Inc 1 hour @ £Overtime)- No Handball- Occasional weekend work available at inflated pay rates- Sites based in Solihull & North BirminghamSuccessful HGV Class 1 Drivers will:-- Have at least 6 months C+E experience- Have no more than up to 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)- Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph cardHGV Class 1 Drivers PAYE rates of pay:-Monday to Friday days £14.24 per hour (Hours 06:00-18:00)Monday to Friday nights £17.80 per hour (Hours 18:00-06:00)Overtime after 8 hours per shift between £21.36 - £24.92 per hourMandatory assessments are involved which will include:-- Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and highway code required)- Full site and safe systems of work induction- Vehicle familiarisation- Practical driving assessmentWorking for Pertemps will benefit from:- Weekly pay via BACS- Free Uniform- Access to driver training including CPC- Dedicated local consultants- 24 hour contactPLEASE CLICK APPLY!
