Thisclient is more focused on personal attitude rather than experience.Health and Safety Officer position overview -Ensure that all HSE standards and procedures are correct and aligned with appropriate requirements. Provide support on these systems to staff across the plantSome of your responsibilities include -

  • Provide leadership on the HSE systems and accreditations on-site.
  • Offer guidance, to ensure that all staff and visitors work in a safe environment.
  • Deliver a training programme to promote, develop and sustain a positive H&S culture.
  • Provide relevant Health, Safety and Fire risk assessment methodology to ensure all potential risks are identified and control measures are implemented.
  • Ensure investigations are implemented, documented, and reported.
  • Contribute to any management meetings, with regards to SHE.
Health and Safety Officer desirable skills and experience -
  • Experience working with a similar role (manufacturing environment).
  • Relevant HSE training such as IOSH and NEBOSH.
  • Fully conversant with systems such as OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 and ideally ISO 14001.
