A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager to join a reputable shop fit-out and refurb company based in Birmingham.This role would be both an advisory role and hands on position with a focus on the site and equipment in the Birmingham site and random audits conducted at customer sites where contractors are conducting construction work.This role is considered a managerial level role and works closely with the MD of the business, as well as the resource team, projects team and electrical team.The non-negotiables for this role is we need a candidate that is IOSH and NEBOSH qualified with some electrical knowledge.Current qualification of 17th edition electrical installations would be a big plus due to the upcoming projects for the company.Also experience within retail or commercial property is a plus.Salary = Approx £50K per annum + £5K car allowanceCompany credit card provided and mileage to customer site can be expensed.Hours = 37 hours a week Mon-Fri (however some need for customer site audits to take place out of hours either over the weekend or on evenings)Office location = Birmingham.
