Job Description

We are currently working with a highly reputable University with a global reach who are currently looking to appoint a new Head of Student Planning & Reporting to provided analysis and support sustainability.The role is due to start in the New Year, with interviews scheduled for the start on December.It is a full time position and the salary bracket is £45,136 to £49,062 per annum.Duties will include:

  • Leading on student number planning and the delivery of annual student number reports to assist in financial forecasts and regulations
  • Delivering internal student number enrolment reporting
  • Liaising with various stakeholders across the university, including Deans, Heads of Departments and other faculty staff
  • Overseeing statutory returns and submissions, as well as related impact analysis
  • Providing quarterly management information on student numbers, applications and retention to support performance review processes
  • Undertaking scenario modelling on student numbers, taking into account financial impacts
  • Line managing and leading a small team of staff, providing support and guidance on operational delivery
  • Providing leadership on appropriate systems, such as SITS and Oracle ERP, to promote data quality
  • Reporting on and modelling funding received from the Office for Students and various other agencies
  • Delivering enhancement projects in relation to student numbers, BI, data quality and other strategic requirements
  • Experience required:
  • Management a small team
  • Statutory reporting within a regulated industry
  • Experience of student number reporting
  • Knowledge of forecasting models and financial planning
  • Working hours:
  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday
  • Mix of work from home and office based
