Job Description

Robert Walters is engaged with a market leading, global business. They specialise in working with businesses who are investing into private markets, whilst assisting them in providing industry leading solutions within fin-tech. They operate across all areasof Insight and Data Management, Machine Learning and provide a bespoke marketing leading tech platform to manage all private asset portfolios.Due to significant global acquisitions and investment, they are expanding their technology and programme office globally. As such, they are keen to appoint an experienced Head of Quality Assurance, paying a salary range of £60,000 to £70,000 working outof the Birmingham office with a hybrid working model.As an experienced Head of Quality Assurance, you will lead the direction and management of QA within engineering. The QA engineers span multiple cross-functional units to ensure design requirements are met. You will drive QA strategy whilst ensuing a strongtechnical background.Head of Quality Assurance - Duties:

  • Partner with engineering managers and product owners to build high-quality experiences
  • Oversee delivery/maintenance of automated testing and frameworks
  • Ensure development tasks meet quality criteria through planning, execution, QA and tracking
  • Risk - Management, Identification and Testing
  • Design, implement and monitor all operations and metrics for QA team
  • Identify and resolve QA issues
  • Resource plan and recruit QA team
  • Mentor, 121s, promote team members
Head of Quality Assurance - Experience:
  • Automation development experience - Selenium, Postman, Swagger, Azure/AWS Cloud, BitBucket, Bamboo, Ansible, Docker, SoapUI, Databases (SQL and NOSQL), Scripting (Python)
  • Lead QA high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience of working in Agile teams
  • Technical/QA engineering background - Cloud technology, Platforms/APIs
  • Experience in modern technology architecture - Cloud, Azure, AWS, Software Practises
  • Build strategy and drive throughout the business
