Are you an experienced Commercial Property Manager, or Estates Surveyor, looking to move in to a Head of" role Do you have retail property experience and commercial acumenThis could be the role for you!The Company:The company are a prestigious and highly regarded retail business, operating across the UK. They truly put their customers at the heart of everything they do, aiming to provide a fantastic customer service every time.Their current portfolio comprises of almost 200 properties, including retail stores, residential flats and investment properties.The Role:The Head of Property will have overall responsibility for the overall management of the Companys commercial, residential and investment portfolio to satisfy the objectives set by the Board of Directors. This will range from the micro detail of compilingrental evidence and getting both new and existing leases agreed and signed, to the macro strategy planning required to manage a national property portfolio including acquisition, disposals and asset management.Along with this, the ability to build relationships quickly allowing swift analysis of multiple project workstreams. Understanding key cost parameters and identifying opportunities to explore to drive benefit through negotiation, economy of scale, tenderand other efficiency areas.The Head of Property will have:The ideal candidate will have experience of lease renewal & rent review negotiations with a good grasp of the L&T Act. Being MRICS qualified and having experience working within a multi-site retail organisation would be advantageous.The Head of Property role will suit a Surveyor with a desire to lead and take charge of the property management side of a retail business.
