I am looking for a high performing, Head of Operations who can be part of streamlining company supply chain processes and navigate their way through e-commerce distribution channels.I have an exciting opportunity to join a FMCG specialist as they look to recruit a highly capable Head of Operations to focus on improving their supply chain operations through their e-commerce offering. The role will be based at their north Birmingham site where they have invested heavily in the operation to meet the challenge of this dynamic fast-moving environment. The salary package on offer here is c£45,000 plus other additional benefits.The successful candidate will need to be passionate and results driven, you will have an autonomous role working closely with your team to shape the planning and management of supply chain movements by the business. You will report to the senior management team and will be tasked with ensuring the highest levels of performance through efficient management of their supply chain operation. You will lead your team and make process improvements where applicable, training and mentoring the staff as you push forwards.The successful candidate should ideally come from an e-commerce sector background but some of their key responsibilities will be to engage with all internal stakeholders from top to bottom. You will lead your team on a journey as you define what "good" looks like for the business, so driving levels of engagement will be critical to your success.Previous experience of working within a retail or e-commerce distribution environment would be preferable, you will strive to ensure that all supply chain activities are executed in accordance with volume demand. You will lead the operations team through effective leadership whilst they are responsible for the day-to-day operations.
