Job Description

Head of IT EngagementHybrid - 3 days in the office on averageDo you have a mix of IT delivery, management and strategy expertise and want to move to a senior leadership position within a fast-moving companyIn this position you will be a key member of the IT Department, working closely with the CIO wider IT strategy executives.You will act as the voice of IT, bringing all elements of Group IT together and communicating across the company. This will include process and information analysis, deriving insight trends, and delivering functions for the day-to-day IT Operations.You will love this varied role - working with the wider leadership team you will be responsible for all aspects of the service portfolio, ensuring that services are fit for purpose and are adequately staffed. You will manage all processes and policies; review,design, and execute on improvements to organisational structures; governance and reporting, and overseeing the headcount plans within IT.What background do we need You probably dont come from a cookie cutter IT role, but will have a mix of skills and experience including:

  • IT engagement / strategy type role or similar - maybe Head of IT or IT Director looking for career progression.
  • Strong technical background and understand IT departments and structure.
  • Experience in a FTSE 250 or equivalent is essential
  • Excellent IT line management skills of teams of 10 technical and non-technical staff
  • Exceptional communication skills! Able to communicate across companies using management information, including to steering committees and company executives.
