We are supporting a global wholesaler in Birmingham to appoint a Head of Commercial Finance. The business has a global reach with offices spanning from New York to Singapore- reporting a record year during the last 12 months.Due to internal promotions and business growth a new Head of Commercial Finance is required to ensure the efficiency of BAU whilst collaborating with UK and EMEA colleagues to help drive growth and identify improvement in their commercial operations.Reporting to the European Finance Directorate you will be expected to take ownership of strategic business goals, budgets and financial planning across the organisation, working with various colleagues including marketing, digital, sales, procurement and finance operations.Ideally, you will:• Provide commercially fluent business partnering to various business leaders along the operational supply chain and finance shared service centre• Have experience of improving financial modelling and reporting within a multi site distribution, manufacturing, logistics or retail business• Take ownership of business wide KPIs establishing a live tracking and reporting system to ensure; positive cashflow -credit position, efficient stock levels and competitive pricing strategies• Take ownership for; robust periodic reporting on the cash position, internal audit project outcomes and delivering key financials to the C-suite in partnership with the Head of Financial Accounting,In Return, you will:• Have the opportunity to transform and grow a thriving commercial business• Be able to be a key player collaborating with C-suite colleagues in an international team• Have the support of a trailblazing Director to make the role your own with no limitations Required skills
